The Bay of Plenty (Fedarb) treaty sheet was signed by Te Whānau-ā-Apanui rangatira (chiefs) at Te Kaha on 14 June 1840. The trader James W. Fedarb, who was the trading master of the schooner Mercury, was responsible for taking this treaty sheet around the Bay of Plenty and held a signing at Te Kaha.
